We partner with an NGO that supports impoverished children and teens in their quest to become photographers. The NGO provides an online store for the young photographers to sell their postcards. The profits directly benefit children to finance their education.
Our journey begins in the fishing village of Huanchaco, where the residents still fish in traditional reed fishing boats. Just outside of Huanchaco, we will visit the largest Pre-Columbian adobe city of Chan Chan, the former capital of the Chimu Empire and the various pyramid temples of the Moche culture.

The next few days, we will travel to the heart of the northern Peruvian cloud forest to visit several small organic coffee and sugar farms as well as traditional weavers. It is here that we will observe the impact of fair trade products on the impoverished children of these communities. This destination is rarely visited because of its’ remoteness guaranteeing an adventurous journey far from the beaten path, filled with authentic picture perfect moments.
Note: This trip requires travelers to be in good physical shape.

Length of stay and itinerary can be modified to suit your group.

Watching the interactions between the students and the children was especially rewarding as any language barrier was simply erased by the smiles.
